Roxy: Odd Jobs

My Vessel JIS screwdrivers came a few days ago.  Was very nervous to check for stuck screws but I was quite pleasantly surprised to find none were frozen!  The JIS screwdriver really locked into the screw head, as you'd expect.  The difference between the JIS and the Philips is obvious when you engage it.

I had actually thought it was the +3 size that I'd be using for the engine covers, but turns out it was the +2 that fit.  Good thing I'd bought the +2, though I'm not sure what I'll ever need the +3 for now, considering there aren't any larger JIS screws on the bike (I think).

So all the screws were free, except it looks like the PPO had run into one that was frozen, and he'd had to reslot it into a square drive head.  I'll just need to measure it next time and get the appropriate screwdriver (which I guess I'll only ever use once).

Speedo bulb needs to be replaced.

I'm not sure what this little bracket is for.  It overlays the two holes for the winker mount, and the larger hole seems to allow a 10mm screw to be added, though I don't know what for.

Winker looks good mounted.

Need to replace these with either shiny new ones (I believe these are the handle cushion seats), or maybe the rubber mounts that would go on a stock S90.  The handle cushion seats are on the bottom, though.  Not sure why PPO had to shim it this way.  Was he just trying to raise the bars up a bit?  Maybe I just remove them entirely, which is actually how the stock CL90 looks according to the parts manual.

Need to replace the horn fasteners.
