Noticed there was some oil leaking from the rocker cover. When I popped it off, I found that it was still the original gasket (not one I'd replaced during the rebuild). It looked pretty tough to scrape off, so I swapped it with the one on Ivy, which had an old gasket too, but one that came off pretty easily.
Replaced it with a new one from the gasket binder. No more leak. Job done.
But... it's still clear that there's a leak where the head meets the cylinder jug.

Motor: Gasket Check
Spent time just poking around Ivy's bottom end (which is currently mounted in Red), just making notes and observations.
- Need case screws on both sides
- Need 1 x clutch inner cover screw
- Do I need to install the clutch lifter?
- Torque the clutch nut
- Torque the oil bolt
- Torque or tighten the engine mount bolts
- Have both the alternator and clutch cover gaskets (but only 1 clutch cover gasket in stock so just ordered another set)
On the fence about whether to try to get the engine running while it's still mounted in Red. This would involve a temporary mounting solution for the exhaust and I may have to install the stock handlebars so the throttle cable fits. And those are only the things I know about...
Or is it easier to just try to mount the engine into Ivy now?

Astrid: K&N
The K&N RU-0155 (38mm OD) was a perfect fit for the CM91 carb. And more importantly, she actually ran with it. But I actually started it with the normal airbox, let it warm up, then switched to the K&N.
What I discovered a few days later is that while she'll run with the K&N, she doesn't seem to be able to start with the K&N. Must simply be too much air when the engine's cold (even choked).
Interesting...

Odd Jobs: Cleaning up Spare Tranny
Scrubbed the new rusty gears and then a few of them went for an Evapo dip. Also removed circlips for the first time for a complete disassembly.
Added the second "spare" RU-0060 K&N filter to Ivy just for show, but realized it just barely clears the frame on the offset configuration.
Thought of maybe switching it over to Astrid and seeing if she'd run, but the OD on that carb is about 38mm. But it would be a very interesting experiment as it would mean I can literally move the entire head and carb over from Astrid to an S90 without switching carbs. At least it gives me another carb option. So I guess I'll pick up a 38mm K&N...

Odd Jobs: Astrid 77-day start, Mikuni
Must be a new record... Astrid started with ONE kick after 77 days. Crazy. It had been so long that the inside of the battery toolbox was full of corrosion, though I couldn't quite tell from what.
Once again confirmed the fat oil leak from where the head meets the cylinder jug (I think).
Also disappointed to see that there was a gas leak coming from the carburetor. Hard to see from where or why. Probably need to pop it open and check the gasket...
Also added the offset intake and Mikuni carb to Ivy.
